Cambridge International Systems has an exciting opportunity for a Program Manager to join our team in Charleston, SC. Qualified candidates will have experience with leading Design, Development, Production, Installation, and Test & Evaluation efforts , networking, and electrical facility projects. In addition, theProgram Manager will oversee Project Managers, Schedule Work, support Writing Proposals and Preparing Bids, and perform development of project technical and management controls/tools. Secret Clearance is required.

TASK DESCRIPTION

  • Support PM's in the review of drawings, design and installation packages, technical reports, and project related deliverables
  • Ultimate responsibility for all aspects of the development and implementation of assigned projects from original concept through final implementation
  • Working with associated PMs, defines project scope and objectives
  • Working with associated PMs, develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports
  • Perform regularly scheduled reviews of project technical and financial health with clients
  • Develop the necessary processes and artifacts to support near real-time evaluation of project health


Required Experience

Required Experience:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in engineering field or equivalent
  • 12-15 years of experience in Design, Development, Production, Installation, and Test & Evaluation of audio visual, networking, and electrical projects
  • 4+ years of experience as a manager
  • 3+ years of experience conducting onsite installations at DOD facilities
  • Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and DoD procurement policies and procedures
  • Must have the ability to work independently or as a member of a team
  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
