AMSC- Maintenance Manager
Description/Job Summary

Position supports all operations and engineering functions. Manager that is involved with and responsible for coordinatin/performing maintenance and routine facility activities.

Responsibilities/Duties

Promotes a high level of communication between departments to resolve equipment maintenance issues

Works to insure the building, property, and equipment are maintained in safe operating conditions and supports equipment builds/modifications

Develops solutions to maintenance and safety issues

Develops and implements growth and development plans for personnel

Works with and manages outside vendors and contractors to obtain quotes, procure supplies and equipment, and gather information needed to complete maintenance activities

Perform other tasks as directed by Managment

Required Qualifications

To perform this position successfully, candidate must possess solid technical and mechanical ability, skills, knowledge, and experience. Soft "people" skills are required to work in the team oriented environment, within the organization, and with external suppliers.

  • Previous supervisory or management experience required (minimum 5-8 years)
  • 5-8 years manufacturing equipment maintenance experience required
  • General knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
  • Bachelors degree in Engineering
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft PC software, spreadsheets, word processing, presentations
  • Must possess excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills to interact within all levels of the organizations
Details
Work in a manufacturing, process, production environment (noise, heat)

Work extended hours and weekends

Travel on demand, or as directed

Hands-on ability and willingness to troubleshoot and perform mechanics work

Able to work hands on
