Carlisle Finishing is looking for an Industrial Maintenance Electrician to join our team.
Recent graduates and experienced electricians without a formal degree are welcome to apply.
Inspect on a routine basis electrical equipment, wiring, fixtures, and other components to ensure they remain functional and are up to code
Repair electrical systems, wiring, circuit breakers, equipment and other components
Test systems with devices such as voltmeters, oscilloscopes and ohmmeters to determine root cause of system malfunction
Review blueprints to understand the placement of wiring or the comprehend the working of the equipment to provide the right service and repairs
Perform diagnostic inspections and tests of machinery and equipment throughout the plant
Adequately analyze and document test results
Perform preventative maintenance on machinery as scheduled and record use of supplies ordered and used
General OSHA knowledge
Analytical skills: ability to analyze test data from routine maintenance testing and troubleshooting
Attention to Detail: ability to perform complex electrical systems repairs using steady hand and extreme attention to detail
Critical Thinking: ability to perform root cause analysis and interpretation of electrical problems and develop a solution to address electrical problems
Written and Verbal Communication: ability to document performance for maintenance logs and verbally communicate with team members and plant staff effectively to address and resolve electrical issues.
Competency with Power Hand Tools: ability to use and determine appropriate tools necessary to perform repairs. Some tools include but are not limited to: diagnostic tools, drills, saws, solders, etc.
Must be able to work in hot environments and not be afraid of heights. Selected candidate will be required to stand on paved flooring for extended number of hours during the shift.
Our hours are currently 6am-4pm or 8am-6pm M-Th with mandatory overtime as needed on Friday. Maintenance personnel may be asked to work other hours, as needed.
