We are currently hiring a Training and Development Manager (Remote)

What you'll do:

  • Develop and Provide Training Content: Craft and deliver engaging training and technical content for new and existing products across various formats including in-person sessions, online courses, and webinars.
  • Annual and Ongoing Training Initiatives: Organize and participate in annual or quarterly meetings, providing targeted training for new product launches, and advanced optical technologies.
  • Training and Development: Enhance the skills of the training team by ensuring they are equipped to deliver exceptional training sessions. This involves developing training material specific to new product launches and ongoing support for the training team.
  • ECP Engagement: Host and conduct training sessions for Eye Care Professionals (ECPs), focusing on new products and technologies and reviewing basic and advanced optics, ensuring ECPs are well-versed with the latest offerings.
  • Customer Service and Sales Training: Implement training programs for customer service and sales representatives on product knowledge, including designs and other specialized products, aiming at improving customer satisfaction and sales performance.
  • Technical and Marketing Content Development: Create new technical and marketing content tailored to the product line for online and in-store training purposes. This includes ensuring the content is updated, relevant, and engaging for the audience.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Optical experience is required
  • 3 - 5 years of training experience
  • Knowledge of current optical technologies, products, and market trends
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful training programs
  • Strong presentation, facilitation, and webinar skills
  • Strong commercial background and understands retail strategies to drive growth
  • Ability to prioritize and work independently
  • Ability to travel up to 50% (2 to 3 times per month on average)
