A Dye and Finishing Machine Operator will report to the Department Management and will assist in directing and controlling processes in accordance with defined policies and procedures. The Dye and Finishing Machine Operator will operate equipment safely and efficiently to ensure the very best quality is produced to Milliken and Company's customers.

Qualifications:

*Prefer to have prior Dye/Finishing experience.

*Must have awareness of PC hardware components, desktop operation system software and application software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).

*Should possess excellent analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve opportunities.

*Able to interact effectively with management, staff, vendors, customers, and work independently, and/or as part of a team.

*Must be capable of using motorized equipment (fork trucks, tuggers, etc.).

*Must be able to comprehend and follow work instructions.

*Must be able to work in an extreme hot climate.

*Must be self-driven.

Responsibilities:

*Operate each job in the department according to established procedures.

*Follow written and oral instructions from department leaders.

*Maintaining high level of housekeeping and cleanliness, keeping a safe working environment.

*Ensure 1st quality product is being produced at all times

*Perform basic maintenance on equipment (lubricating, cleaning, tightening, etc.).

*Perform scheduled cleans on equipment and area

*Monitoring and analyzing process parameters to ensure machines are performing to specification.

*Transport fabric and material from one area to the next using different types of material handling equipment.

*Other duties as assigned by management

Comments:

Shift - Rotate

Pay $18.48 top pay
