Job Purpose

The Industrial Engineer supports new plant process development and Capacity Analysis. Candidate should be proficient in Time study methods, Line balancing, man / machine charts, Value stream mapping, as well as lean manufacturing and Continuous improvement concepts' Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work with others. Emphasis is placed on accuracy and completeness of all analysis activities, but also on enhancement and upgrading of current systems.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

* Process analysis including time studies, detailed capacity analysis, man/machine analysis, line balancing and Value added content
* Identification and verification of under-utilized Value Streams and Assets
* Identification and resolution of bottleneck within processes
* Develop Value stream maps and actionable improvement items
* Drive Cost saving initiative
* Support short-term Capacity-Demand Analysis
* Monitor capital spending performance - short term/monthly
* Determination/Classification of Core and Non-Core Processes/Products
* Management and administration of Detailed Asset Risk Assessment (DARA) Process
* Analyze and report on Capital Spending activities and trends

Requirements
* Industrial Engineering Degree or equivalent experience (5+ years) within a manufacturing engineering environment (similar or related bachelor's degree).
* Hands-On/Shop Floor experience in a high-volume or high-mix industrial environment.
* Capital Management experience including budget preparation and management responsibilities.
* Proficient with computer systems including, but not limited to MS Office (emphasis with Excel), PLM/PDM systems, A Cad ect... Data Base experience a distinct plus.
* Strong self-starting and networking (interpersonal) skills. Strong written, verbal and presentation skills.
* Experience in leading small groups of people to project completion.
* Analytical and thorough approach, but focused on project completion and implementation.
* Strong analytical and systems orientation.
