Fillauer is hiring a Manufacturing Assembly Technician in Chattanooga, Tennessee to produce components by assembling parts and subassemblies to meet production schedules.

Your Impact
    Assembles products using instructions, bills of materials and engineering drawings
  • Interprets technical documents, such as diagrams, schematics, or other verbal or written instructions.
  • Documents actions by electronically recording labor for each job
  • Ensures quality standards are met
  • Verifies specifications by measuring completed component
  • Identifies any defective items and handles according to established procedures
  • Resolves assembly problems by communicating with peers or supervisors
  • Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with company standards
  • Uses hand tools, power tools, custom fixtures, drill presses, arbor presses, ovens, heat guns and other light duty equipment
  • May perform painting, laser etching, sewing and/or plastic thermoforming
Minimum Qualifications
  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
  • Proven experience in assembly
  • Good understanding of quality control principles
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and safely
  • Good math/analytical skills with ability to use tools/take measurements
  • Must work well in a team environment
  • Good communications skills
  • Highly organized with the ability to meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure
