JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Opportunity

The Field Marketing Specialist will assist the field marketing team with managing, planning and implementing programs and demand generation activities including channel and alliance marketing. Reporting to the Americas Director of Marketing, West, you will work with sales, channel, and alliance teams to complete marketing plans that drive net-new business, increase share of wallet in existing business and accelerate opportunities.

The successful candidate will have strong communication and relationship leadership skills. This role is best suited for someone who is a strong multi-tasker with organizational skills. You will coordinate with various marketing and sales teams to build or leverage content and assets needed to support marketing initiatives and events in the field.

What you'll do...

  • Assist and support field marketing team to build quarterly marketing plans to generate net new sales opportunities, increase share of wallet and accelerate opportunities.

  • Complete and support quarterly channel and alliances marketing activities/plans with prioritized partners, driving execution to ensure programs and activities are implemented in a timely manner

  • Work with appropriate external 3rd party publications, agencies, and media to build visibility and attention for Commvault markets.

  • Track lead flow to ensure follow up on marketing activities in a timely manner.

  • Meet frequently with field marketing and sales collaborators to provide updates on programs.

  • Work with field marketing team and channel marketing teams to assist with managing program budget, including MDF with channel partners and alliance partners

  • Work with field marketing teams to support and manage execution of field events

  • Manage contracts and vendors as required

  • Attend and manage relevant trade shows, events and follow up

Who you are...

  • 2 years marketing experience

  • Experience with marketing automation platforms (Marketo) and Salesforce a plus.

  • Social media and digital marketing knowledge.

  • Strong project management skills and proven ability to manage numerous diverse projects.

  • Creative thinking to design compelling programs that are aligned to strategic objectives regionally

  • A collaborative and flexible personality who adapts easily to change and a willingness to learn new things.

  • A winning attitude.

Thank you for your interest in Commvault. Total compensation for this role is market competitive, and within the below base salary range:

$51,000 - $146,100
