Housekeeper

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

* Clean, disinfect equipment and supplies, monitor environment for potential hazards, clean vacant rooms as assigned, ensure proper disposal of infectious waste(s) into appropriate containers and other duties as assigned.

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

* Must be able to work every other weekend.

* Must be able to push, pull, move and/or lift a minimum of 25 lbs.

* Work is typically performed in an environmentally controlled environment.

* Work is performed on multi-level facilities.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

* Must be able to read and recognize chemical labels.

* Effective English communication skills.

* Ability to understand basic housekeeping tasks consistent with facility priorities.

* Professional demeanor with resident community.

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

Must possess, as a minimum, a high school education or its equivalent.
