Behavior Specialist

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

* Provides behavior therapy and monitoring for all residents.

* Observe and assess patients' behavior.

* Implement treatment plans to address behavioral issues.

* Collaborate with psychologist to follow behavioral treatment plans.

* Support patients throughout the treatment process.

* Communicate with patients, caregivers, and families to implement treatment plans.

* Monitor and record treatment progress.

* Conduct assessments to determine patients' improvements.

* Maintain patient records and treatment reports.

* Collaborate with other healthcare specialists and support organizations.

* Possess strong working knowledge of behavioral theory and applied behavior analysis.

* Conduct group treatment as outlined in patient plan of care.


Required Experience

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

  • Must have, as a minimum, one (1) year professional experience in the field as a behavior specialist. 5+ years preferred.

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

  • Graduate with at least a bachelor's degree. Master's degree preferred
