Job Description

As a Senior Test Engineer, you will work on an interdisciplinary engineering environment to design, implement, and validate cost-effective methods of system design, data collection and reporting. More specifically, this position will focus on process and systems which we track and data collect our customer owned utility metering products.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain Custom C# and C++ software applications which control our customer return and device tracking processes.
  • Maintain databases (such as MS-SQL) to support processes.
  • Optimize processes by monitoring existing streams of data, understanding what makes an ideal process, and learning when to respond when processes fall out of standards.
  • Project leadership and management opportunities may be assigned in accordance with departmental needs.
  • Design, implement, and sustain configuration/test methods for the manufacture of products.
  • Develop and maintain test stations and fixtures with associated controls hardware. Continuous improvement of quality, cycle time, and reliability of production equipment through hardware and/or software modifications.
  • Documentation of processes, equipment, and products as needed.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 4+ years of related experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment, is required.
  • Ability to code in several languages (C# and C++ highly preferred)
  • Experience with databases (MS-SQL highly preferred)
  • Knowledge of Software System and Database design
  • Knowledge of hardware and software integration
  • Experience collaborating in cross-functional teams
  • Professional workplace communication skills
  • Understanding of electrical circuit design

Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or similar, related discipline.
