Job Title: Supply Chain Manager

Job Summary: This position is responsible for leading and coordinating all aspects of the supply chain process for the Milliken Cedar Hill Plant. The position is located in Jonesville, SC and reports directly to the Plant Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage activities related to strategic or tactical purchasing, material requirements planning, inventory control, warehousing and receiving

-ordering raw materials

-production planning and scheduling

-warehouse and distribution

-storage of raw materials and finished goods

-on time delivery

  • Establish collaborative internal and external relationships that ensure all aspects of the process operate successfully throughout the total supply chain

  • Identify and implement continuous improvement to the supply chain process

  • Understand and effectively use the SAP planning systems to manage master data

  • Train, develop, and coach supply chain associates who are direct reports:

-Foster a working environment that promotes open communications, teamwork and individual engagement to accomplish goals and objectives
-Ensure that work is properly allocated and completed in a timely and accurate manner
-Ensure that written performance evaluations of associates are completed as required; provide continuous feedback on personal performance issues; take immediate action to recognize achievements and address deficiencies or problems
-Ensure safety rules are clearly understood and followed

Qualifications - Required:

  • BS degree
  • 3 - 5 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
