The Contract Integrity Analyst:

  • Ensures that transportation contractual specifications are followed for all services rendered and invoices.
  • Manages the vendor relationship according to the guidelines of the specific area of responsibility.
  • Develops processes and trains vendors for invoice submittals to meet the BMW guidelines, which are required for all non-conforming vendors.
  • Provides financial reporting on vendor contract integrity.
  • Ensures transportation contract compliance and validation of all manual invoice submittals of vendors for service rendered.
  • Develops route naming and specifications related to payment and equipment specifications for both JIT/JIS.
  • Provides contract integrity and financial reports/analysis through the use of FSB (freight self billing) transportation system.
  • Coordinates payment activities and contract compliance for new vendors or changes in vendor source of supply status based on the guidelines of the transportation CCB.
  • Conducts weekly meetings with carriers and TV department to identify issues.
  • Communication liaison for FSB.
  • Validates and posts equipment detention invoices for accuracy and completion.
  • Provides transportation cost reporting for internal department or other BMW departments.
  • Assigns transportation costs to relevant department or supplier based on department request/authorization or transportation costs related to supplier at fault.
  • Understands and models VPS (Value Added Production System) Principles and concepts of Standard Work and Problem Solving.
  • Adheres to 5S and Safety Standards and Principles.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications
  • BA/BS Degree in Business or related field or fours years of equivalent professional experience in a manufacturing supplier/vendor function.
  • 2+ years professional experience managing vendor/supplier contract integrity and/or 2+ years professional experience in a financial reporting/analysis function.
  • 3+ years of financial analysis/reporting skills.
  • 3+ years of MS Office skills: Excel, Word, Powerpoint.
  • 1+ years of SAP skills (preferred).
  • 3+ years of written and oral communication skills.
  • 1+ years of problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
  • 3+ years of ability to prioritize work based on schedule, risk and complexity.
  • 3+ years of attention to detail.
