Scope Summary:

Provide direct support for initiatives related to the CompTIA Continuing Education program and CompTIA Certifications by working directly with external partners and internal CompTIA staff.

In this role, the candidate will be instrumental in helping to manage and streamline various operational and administrative tasks crucial to our organization's success. Collaborating with third-party organizations will be key to reviewing and approving training content for Continuing Education Units (CEUs), with a strong emphasis on meticulous record-keeping and communication. The candidate will also manage our Continuing Education (CE) website pages, ensuring they are up to date with preapproved training and certifications. This comprehensive role requires a candidate who is detail-oriented, highly organized, and capable of multitasking in a dynamic environment to support our organization's educational and certification initiatives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Weekly CE Audits: Perform weekly audits of Continuing Education activities to ensure ongoing quality and compliance with standards.
  • Process certification validation applications that provide our Academic Partners with access to our Certvalidation Tool to check voucher status.
  • Collaborate with Third-Party Organizations: Work with external organizations to review and approve training content and IT industry certification descriptions for Continuing Education Units (CEUs), ensuring all content is submitted through JIRA.
  • Maintain Training Content Records: Manage and update the master spreadsheet for all training content received from third parties and communicate updates to relevant organizations.
  • Manage CE Website Pages: Oversee the management and updating of Continuing Education (CE) website pages that list preapproved training and certifications, including creating Web tickets for updates.
  • Update CertMetrics: Add newly approved IT industry certifications and the corresponding number of CEUs to CertMetrics.
  • Process CE Token Orders: Oversee the processing and tracking of Continuing Education Token orders to ensure timely and accurate distribution.
  • Support Customer Service: Provide Tier 3/4 support for customer service tickets related to Continuing Education questions, ensuring high-quality customer service.
  • Manage CertMetrics Emails: Oversee the management of email communications within CertMetrics, including coordination with the Japan team for translations.
  • Collaborate with VUE and CompTIA Web Team: Work with VUE and the CompTIA Web team to manage requirements checks and product links, ensuring new courses are accessible on the store.
  • Handle Refunds: Oversee the submission of refund requests to Finance through PayPal and direct candidate requests, ensuring a smooth refund process.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree or 2-3 years of related experience in IT.
  • Customer Support and managing customer service-related tasks.
  • Technical Competency - Experience working with various software applications.
  • Problem-solving skills - Ability to test and troubleshoot issues.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

  • Professional proficiency in spoken and written English
