Career Opportunity:

As Laboratory Technical Services Support, you will serve as an integral part of the Pavement Technologies team providing support to ourinternalcustomers.Primary responsibilitieswill include analysis of aggregate and asphalt samples, production and testing of asphalt emulsions, and evaluation of asphalt mixtures.We're looking for a high-energy individual with the qualifications listed below.

How you will impact Ingevity:

  • Obtain accurate test results that willinfluence technical solutions from concept to customer acceptance.
  • Ensure that testing is completed according toestablished ISSA, ASTM, and AASHTO standards.
  • Effectively communicate with team members to meet the needs of our customers.
  • Work as part of a dynamic team utilizing the members' individual strengths to share laboratory responsibilities and to maximize results.

What you need to succeed:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or other science-related disciplineispreferred
  • Hands-on industry or academic lab experiencepreferred
  • Intuitive problem-solving skills
  • High level of attention to detail and organizational ability
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strength to safely handle 50 lb. buckets of materials
  • Team player mentality and the flexibility to adapt to ever-changing priorities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
