Job Description
Title: Developer IV
Location: Columbia, SC (Partially onsite - 3 days (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) minimum, possibly more depending on work needs)
Duration: 12 Months (possibility of extension)
Required Technologies: Mainframe, JCL, COBOL, Easytrieve, DB2
Nice To Have: Intertest (debugging tool), Sharepoint, Azure, TSO
Day to Day: Performing analysis, design, programming, testing and implementation of systems and procedures to solve complex business or scientific problems.
About the Team: Informational Reporting provides customer reports, tables, and extracts, while also maintaining data repositories for South Carolina and many other customers. It serves as the face of the client to many customers due to the direct interaction we have with them. We service the needs of internal and external affiliates around the country.
Required Exeprience:
* at least 6 years of application development, systems testing or other job related experience,
* a high level of technical proficiency, strong analysis, decision-making and problem solving skills
* does pay attention to details
Soft Skill Set: Flexible and able to work well under pressure to support multiple assignments and tight deadlines Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work as part of a team and across the matrix organization
Minimum Required Education:
Bachelor's degree-in Computer Science, Information Technology or other job related degree.
Degree Equivalency: 4 years of job related work experience or 2 years of job related experience plus an associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other job related degree
Minimum Required Work Experience: 6 years-of application development, systems testing or other job related experience.
