Job Summary
To assist the Emergency Department Physicians or Residents and Orthopedic Physicians or Residents. Duties include, but not limited to, splinting, casting, assisting with minor procedures, wound care, applying fabricated devices, immobilization devices, traction, and overhead frames. Attends all Traumas in the Emergency Department. Works in collaboration with Supply Distribution and Sterile Processing to provide nursing staff with supplies and sterile equipment daily.Accountabilities

This is a non management job that will report to a supervisor, manager, director or executive
Minimum Qualifications
Education - High school diploma, GED or equivalent - preferred
Experience - Two years of orthopedic experience - preferred
Required Licensures
Completion of a Certified Orthopedic Technician certification from NBCOT or ASOP required. Heartsaver CPR required.
Other Required Skills/Experience
Basic computer knowledge of Windows operating environment
