Front Desk Coordinator

Position Overview: We are excited to offer an outstanding opportunity for a Front Desk Coordinator to join our dental practice. The primary responsibility of this role is to manage all front office functions efficiently and ensure that patients, parents, and/or guardians receive exceptional service, making them our top priority. This position operates from Monday to Friday, from 7:15 am to 4:00 pm.

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a professional, medical, or dental setting with direct customer service is preferred.

Specific Skills:

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to foster positive relationships.
  • Flexibility to commute between multiple locations as needed.
  • Dedication to delivering outstanding customer service with a friendly demeanor.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills with all levels of staff and management.
  • Strong organizational abilities, keen attention to detail, and adeptness at multitasking while maintaining timeliness.
  • Proficiency in PC skills and a willingness to learn and adapt to new software programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a welcoming environment.
  • Manage appointment scheduling and confirmations, addressing any scheduling conflicts promptly.
  • Handle patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints courteously and efficiently.
  • Process patient registration and insurance verification accurately.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front office area.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and record-keeping.
  • Collaborate effectively with the dental team to ensure smooth clinic operations.
