The Project Manager is responsible for the deployment of solutions to meet the needs and requirements of Cass Telecom customers. This position provides business consulting for both pre and post sales activities utilizing repeatable processes to implement an efficient transition of customers to Cass services and applications.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Supports customers in the planning and implementation of various levels of configuration and customization within Cass systems.
  • Utilizes the implementation team members to coordinate the transition of customer business requirements and technical needs to ensure a timely and effective implementation.
  • Utilizing Microsoft Project, creates and executes project plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements from project initiation to closure.
  • Effectively communicates project expectations to the customer, team members and management in a timely and clear fashion.
  • Leads weekly implementation meetings/webinars with the customer and internal resources to review the project plan accomplishments and actions to drive completion of all stage gate tasks associated with onboarding a new customer.
  • Contributes in identifying application requirements or enhancements based on current and potential customer input and needs.
  • Manages the escalation process internally and externally for projects that are in jeopardy of missing a targeted implementation timeframe.
  • Supports the sales and marketing team in a pre-sales technical role supporting service implementation.
  • Engages clients to gather and establish an active vendor account inventory; creates the active inventory in the Cass system to establish and support the input/output methods for payment and receipt of invoices.
  • Communicates with the client to establish their vendor contacts, Letter of Agency (LOA), portal access, Federal ID's and DBA listing.
  • Based on client interaction, gathers requirements to adhere to established receipt of invoice methods, this includes but is not limited to client documentation required to establish EDI, portal setup and validation or invoices that are mailed
  • Coordinates the pre-loading of invoices so that allocations can be established before go-live.
  • Sets up vendor letters for address changes.
  • Acts as primary liaison with Columbus Files & Doc Department and other internal departments.
  • Designs, establishes and documents appropriate system setup for Enterprise and ESv2.
  • Creates the Client Profile document outlining client specific processes and procedures.
  • Communicates with the Implementation team members to establish creative solutions, resolve issues and understand all tasks inside and outside of the job duties to effectively implement a client.
  • Performs other duties and projects as assigned.

          SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

          • Assess situations to determine the importance, urgency, and risks, and make clear decisions which are timely and in the best interests of the organization.
          • Set priorities, develop a work schedule, monitor progress towards goals, and track details, data, information, and activities, while working on multiple tasks simultaneously.
          • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
          • Positively influence others to achieve results that are in the best interest of the organization.
          • Detail oriented with excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to create and maintain organized documentation.
          • Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management and other departments.
          • Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
          • Ability to train and mentor team members.
          • Technically competent with various software programs, such as Microsoft Office suite.
          • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial.
          • Ability to travel up to 10%.
          • Familiar with invoice and accounting processes and terminology preferred.
          • Telecommunications technical knowledge preferred.

            MINIMUM LEVEL OF PREPARATION AND TRAINING NORMALLY REQUIRED:

            • Bachelor's degree in business administration or technology field or equivalent work experience.
            • Project Management Professional (PMP) or like certification preferred.
            • 1 year of experience managing software integration projects and with highly skilled teams preferred.
            • 1 year of experience communicating technical capabilities into business solutions.
            • 1 year of experience working in a customer support environment.
