Job Summary

Performs a variety of administrative, secretarial and clerical tasks involved in the operations of the department. Coordinates activities of the office. Works with the manager regarding any issues or concerns within the department to ensure resolution of issues while maintaining compliance. Demonstrates initiative and is perceptive of needs and requirements of the Manager. Contributes to positive interpersonal relationships with all parties and conducts self in an exemplary manner at all times. Acts as a liaison with other Prisma Health departments on matters concerning physicians and operation of office.

Accountabilities

  • Maintains a comprehensive, current knowledge of operational procedures used within the system and the department.\u00A010%
  • Keeps appropriate office personnel appraised of current activities, events, and problematic situations, either actual or anticipated.\u00A0 Communicates with parties involved and offers assistance.\u00A0\u00A010%
  • Serves as a facilitator to increase the effectiveness of the department.

  • Completes necessary administrative duties and tasks including typing, ordering, filing, answering telephones, etc., to ensure proper functioning of the office.\u00A0\u00A020%
  • Schedule and attend routine meetings with office staff to assure information sharing.\u00A0\u00A010%
  • Assume responsibility of decision-making and plans of action within the administrative realms of the office.\u00A0\u00A020%
  • Responsible for Time and Attendance Payroll reporting system for the office.\u00A0\u00A020%

Minimum Education

High school diploma or equivalent.

    Minimum Experience

    2 years - office coordination and administration.
