About The Opportunity

Responsible for working with internal and external customers to identify needs and requirements in effort to translate them into a manufacturable design that is produced at the highest standard of quality while maintaining profitability and cost efficiency.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Provide technical skill, knowledge, and judgment to ensure designs meets the customer's specific needs. Primary focus on Opte Sleeve.
2. Provide technical input and support in the advancement of materials.
3. Provide design support for custom and proprietary product development.
4. Perform "Design for Manufacturing" & standard check doc process as required.
5. Manage multiple projects effectively while communicating regularly to stakeholders and meeting project timing commitments.
6. Support the activities necessary to meet or exceed the financial objectives of both sales growth and profitability for this offering.
7. Support the execution and continuous improvement of the quality policy and procedures as appropriate.
8. Ensure project requirements are clear/customer needs are met/vetting projects as needed when information is vague or not available.
9. Ensure ISO compliance / adherence on all processes within group.

Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

1. Designs returnable packaging dunnage utilizing SolidWorks/Inventor software
2. Strong communication skills with multiple departments.
3. Ability to multi-task and juggle priorities in a fast-paced environment
4. Attention to detail and strong time management skills.
