Atlas Tech, a veteran-owned IT company serving multiple DoD customers in support of America's warfighters, is looking for an Information Assurance Analyst in Charleston, SC.

The Information Assurance Analyst will provide guidance and mentorship to team members. The IA Analyst will develop and maintain effective, collaborative relationships with customers, stakeholders, and staff at all levels of the organization. The position will support a major technology modernization project for one of our US Government customers and with Software Support Activity PMW 160. Our ideal candidates for these positions will have proven experience with the DoD.

Pay Range: $70,469 to $86,000, depending on experience

You Will:

  • Perform data analysis on ACAS and other vulnerability management tools to explain discrepancies between the tools
  • Provide target system configuration guidance to customers to ensure successful vulnerability scans
  • Diagnose and resolves ACAS vulnerability scanning credential failures, false positives, scanning issues, and reporting issues
  • Conduct vulnerability scans, reports, asset creation/modification, and policy creation/modification using ACAS Security Center
  • Creating/Maintaining a database of all PMW 160 software
  • Monitor current approval status for baseline applications in the Navy's Vulnerability Remediation Asset Manager (VRAM) system
  • Prepare and submit appropriate documents for adding, extending, associating, or mapping individual applications to the appropriate systems within VRAM based on need as instructed by procurement and/or developers
  • Review LDA reports for software applications used in all baselines
  • Notify PORs, developers and Subject Matter Experts of CYBERCOM IAV announcements
  • Assist Configuration Management in making approved patches available to the Fleet

You Have:

  • United States Citizenship
  • The ability to possess and maintain a minimum of a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Level Security Clearance
  • Experience analyzing, testing, and evaluating moderately complex software and systems
  • Experience Identifying and resolving issues encountered during testing
  • Experience performing configuration and maintenance activities
  • The ability to collaborate in specification creation, editing, maintenance
  • The ability to apply logic and reasoning skills to routine research projects
  • The ability to apply scientific research processes towards routine projects
  • The capacity to oversee the proper software, network or equipment operations and maintenance
  • Experience analyzing and configuring software, network, or equipment
  • Experience collecting, analyzing, and maintaining technical artifacts and data
  • The capacity to collaborate with systems, network, and software SMEs to gather information
  • The ability to maintain data integrity and cyber compliance
  • Proficiency with DISA's Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) suite of products to include Tenable / Nessus Security Center
  • Experience with VRAM highly desired
  • Strong customer relations, documentation, and oral communication skills
  • Self-Motivated, strong work ethic, and commitment to quality
  • Must have demonstrated, recent, and relevant experience working with senior government managers of IA issues
  • Excellent communication skills demonstrating an ability to communicate on both a technical and project management level
  • Experience preparing formal written technical content for the development, implementation, and management of projects
  • Support NIWC Atlantic in Charleston, SC
  • Attend multiple scheduled meetings on a regular basis
  • Possess the ability to multi-task and balance multiple goals and priorities.
  • Express ideas clearly and diplomatically
  • Work efficiently and proactively without constant supervision
  • Possess passion for providing quality and technically sound solutions

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics is preferred, but relevant experience may be substituted for degree
  • CompTIA Security+ Certification
  • Six years of relevant, technical, experience to include technical specifications development, process analysis and design, technical problem solving, and analytical/logical thinking
  • Certified IAT Level II, with recent and relevant DoD experience in IA preferred
