Kearney and Company is seeking an SAP Functional Tester to join our team to conduct unit, integration, and regression testing for application code changes, creation of test data, and conducting and documenting development manuals and automated test cases in support of a client's existing Federal SAP Financial System. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:


* Create Application Quality Testing (AQT) and System Acceptance Testing (SAT) Test cases and prepare required Test Data
* Conduct AQT and SAT from both the functional and 508 perspectives
* Respond to AQT and SAT tickets (opened by IT / EST / Business Customers), to identify, prioritize, report and resolve defects in accordance with IRS defect priority resolution timeframes.
* Perform Performance testing; track performance metrics and ensure application meets the required performance SLAs
* Conduct knowledge sharing and provide training to IRS development staff on Contractor developed code/applications
* Provide technical support for IRS personnel involved in using, modifying, and maintaining applications
* Support cross functional teams to include changes in the requirements, functional and technical configuration, and solution testing
* Support testing of software functionality and design concepts
* Provide functional expertise, guidance, and instruction on SAP processes to the client
* Strong communication and teamwork skills


Qualifications

* Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, Management, Information systems, Computer Science, or equivalent

* Minimum 4 years of experience working providing AQT and SAT related functions
* Self-starter with the ability to work independently and lead a workstream
* Demonstrates strong oral and written communication skills

* Ability to obtain a U.S. secret level security clearance (requires U.S. Citizenship)

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with Federal SAP financial system navigation and functionality

* Prior experience with SAP
* Understanding of Federal accounting processes including budgeting and funds management processes
* Demonstrated critical thinking ability

The expected salary range for this position is between $80k and $125k. This range is representative of base pay only and does not include straight time pay for hours worked over 40 per week, company contributions towards paid benefits, and/or bonuses. Actual compensation (meeting or exceeding the range) will be determined based on specific experience, education, work location, clearance level, and other factors permitted by law. This position is eligible for bonuses (when applicable).
