THE OPPORTUNITY
Michelin has an immediate opening for a Benefits & Retirement Manager for Affiliates, Mergers & Acquisitions for North America. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the US and Canadian strategy and tactical delivery of Benefits and Retirement programs. Directly working with Human Resources and the Business to define benefit and retirement needs. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, with attention to detail who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Experience streamlining existing processes and driving continuous improvement is a plus.

This position will report directly to the Head of Total Rewards for North America and functionally to the HR Operations Merger & Acquisition Manager. Working closely with the Subject Matter Experts within Benefits and Retirement, Payroll and our Shared Service Center.

This opportunity is at our North American Corporate Headquarters in Greenville, SC but can be remote with periodic travel and work from this central location. There will be periodic travel, on average 25% overall.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

* Lead the strategic coordination of the Benefits & Retirement for affiliated companies as well as our Mergers & Acquisitions.
* Lead the tactical delivery and assurance of quality in the delivery of Benefit & Retirement Programs to Affiliated Companies.
* Support of Acquisition Due Diligence and Integration
* Supervise and report the progress through the Corporate Business Services organization including concise and timely communication.
* Drive the process standardization and facilitate cross functional sessions with Subject Matter Experts when required.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

* Bachelor's degree in a business related with strong financial competence.
* 5+ years proven experience in US Health & Welfare, US Benefit Administration & Delivery, US Defined Contribution Retirement Plan, Insurance strategy & delivery.
* 5+ years proven experience handling 3rd party consultants and projects.
* The ability to interact in a professional manner with business leaders, human resources, finance, external providers, and consultants using concise written and verbal communication with the appropriate level of detail.
* Strong analytical, critical-thinking, problem-solving and presentation skills with proven ability to work independently and properly prioritize.
* Experience with creating macros, Power Query, Power BI and Workday is preferred.
* Experience in Underwriting and Actuarial Science is preferred.
