- Pay range: $150,000 - $200,000 (depending on experience)

- Must collaborate and develop strong relationships with people to ensure successful accomplishments of plant and regional goals
- Must be able to establish operational goals, both financial and non-financial, with clear work plans, and hold management staff accountable
- Direct all activities of the Area including accounting, shipping, receiving, operations, safety and environmental
- Lead in a professional manner toward achieving company performance goals with emphasis on safety, quality and all company standards
- Responsible for the planning of budgets, company assets, labor forecasts and capital expenditures for short-term and long-range production
- Supports company's policies and procedures including AA/EEO goals
- Ensure legal compliance with all applicable local state and federal employment laws to minimize risk/exposure to the company
- Ability to forecast short and long-term buying of material to meet on-time delivery schedules to our consumers
- Ability to make sure all employees are trained and well prepared to carry out their daily tasks to ensure everyone's safety
- Extensive knowledge of all areas of operations
- Knowledge of transportation and logistics is critical
- Must be able collaborative, partnering with leaders to positively motivate team to achieve success
- Must be able to control budgeted labor and overtime costs; as well as, maintain fiscal responsibility for all departments' budgets
- Must be able to control inventory dollars by meeting inventory turn standards set forth by company
- Must be able to maintain and be familiar with safety and environmental concerns
- Past successful experience in operations, marketing, sales in a metal recycling facility or other related industry a strong plus
- Demonstrated ability to manufacture quality products that consistently meet or exceed consumer receiving specifications
- Preferred familiarity with material handling equipment and how to properly maintain (maintenance programs) and repair equipment
- Shredder knowledge preferred
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent relevant experience required
- Master's degree preferred
