Job Summary

This position is responsible for the creation and implementation of integrated marketing communications plans, strategies, tactics, timelines and budgets to support the organizational goals, business objectives and priorities for the care delivery sites part of Prisma Health. As part of the hospital operations and with access to broad expertise, capabilities and channels within the Prisma Health marketing and communications department, this position acts as a key consultant and advisor to assigned business and clinical leaders on marketing and communications best practices, employee engagement strategies, consumer awareness, physician referral marketing, sponsorships, and digital and social media. With excellent facilitative leadership and project management skills, the position regularly monitors integrated marketing communication plans and tactics to ensure maximum effectiveness.

Accountabilities

  • Act as the primary marketing and communications consultant for assigned clinical areas to assess and respond to their marketing and communications needs. Work closely with hospital leaders to identify emerging opportunities or changes that could influence marketing plans or communications to patients, clinicians, or staff. Attend in-person entity meetings - serve as liaison and connector for the marketing team. Strong commitment to understanding the business and how it operates. Help develop and create marketing strategies that create a sense of pride for those delivering care. - 20%

  • Support the execution of community engagement strategies at the hospital level. Serve as a partner and liaison with our community relations team to give visibility to engagement opportunities at the entity level. - 20%

  • Develop key messages, differentiators and value propositions related to various components of the plan. Draft communications, including copy for marketing collateral. - 20%

  • Act as project manager for the creation of promotional materials and campaigns to support tactical implementation of marketing communications strategies. - 15%

  • Work collaboratively with all areas within marketing & communications (media relations, organizational communications, analytics, digital, social, etc.) to maximize the effectiveness of tactical projects. - 15% Work with analytics and campaign team to closely track plan results and regularly report them back to business and clinical leaders. - 10%

Supervisory/Management Responsibilities

This is a non-management job that will report to a supervisor, manager, director, or executive.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 3 years of experience in Marketing or Communications

Knowledge, Skills, or Abilities

  • Work experience should include participation in strategic plan development and expertise in

  • tactics that range from collateral material creation and development, to special event

  • management, to highly targeted, audience-specific initiatives.

  • Experience in marketing, marketing communication, or communications, with demonstrated

  • experience in driving the implementation of strategic marketing plans and tactics.

  • Account management and relationship building, problem solving skills and the ability to connect

  • dots aross a matrix organization
