MINIMUM SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

• Five (5) or more years of experience with:
• Cisco Route / Switch engineering, design, troubleshooting, and maintenance
• Juniper firewalls
• Brocade
• Thorough understanding of DoD (Navy) Cyber security practices, tools
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical discipline
• Active DoD Secret clearance, ability to upgrade to Top Secret
• Eligible for CSWF IAT II (Security+ min)

DESIRED SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience with any or all of the following is a plus:
• Familiarity with Navy communications facility equipment
• Circuit to Packet (CTP) circuit emulation technology
• Serial transport protocols, including (but not limited to) EIA530, RSQ32, MIL-STD-188
• CSU / DSU technologies
• Serial multiplexing, de-multiplexing
• Software defined networking technologies (SDN)
• ForcePoint TTC, Citrix
  
• Advanced certifications, such as:
• Cisco: CCNP (preferred), CCNA or similar
• Juniper: JNCIA-Junos, JNCIS-DevOps, JNCIS-ENT, JNCIS-SEC
• Linux: RHCE, RHCSA, or similar
• VMware: VCP, VCAP, or similar

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Works on the transport team to support complex route/switch, circuit, and other networking needs in support of our Network Operation Centers
