Ronco is seeking a Structured Cabling Technician in the Summerville, SC area. In this role, you will perform the installation and maintenance of structured cabling systems for critical communications, audiovisual, and various other low-voltage solutions.
Accountabilities Include:
  • Install, terminate, and test cabling per project scope and engineered drawings
  • Dress and route cable into telecommunications closets, modular furniture, and other work area outlets
  • Build out telecommunication and equipment rooms
  • Test, troubleshoot, and document test results for cabling
  • Maintain all documents related to cabling infrastructure and provide daily progress reports
  • Mount equipment while adhering to best practices, industry standards, and manufacturer requirements
  • Conduct job site surveys, including visual inspections and problem identification
Requirements for Success:
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • A minimum of one year of structured cabling or low-voltage experience
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently or in a team
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Professional, reliable, and highly organized
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite of products: Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Maintain a clean driving record
