CoSolutions, Inc. is looking to hire an IT Specialist in New Orleans, LA. Be an integral part of an enterprise- wide team on a contract that provides full lifecycle support to the Navy's worldwide secure and classified networks.
NOTE: This is a 100% on-site position with no ability for remote/virtual work due to the sensitive nature of the work and collaboration of the program team.
Responsibilities:
Install, configure, service, repair, and maintain Information Technology (IT) systems in both a stand-alone and client-server environment, including Microsoft (MS) server, Defense Message Systems (DMS), and other authorized IT systems as well as hardware and software for network services, storage networking devices, and servers. Integrate multiple Information Systems (IS) in a networked environment. Evaluate and resolve customer Information System problems. Provide hardware upgrades and repair to maintain mission capability. Install and configure wireless hubs, routers, switches, and various transmission media, server hardware and software, and ensure the proper installation and configuration of workstation hardware and software for efficient operation on the network. Install, optimize, and troubleshoot Local Area Network (LAN) and Base Area Networks (BAN).
Minimum Required Qualifications:
Experience: 5+ years IT Experience. Must have experience with Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6), Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol (EIGRP), Border Gateway Protocol (BGP), Virtual Local Area Networks (VLANs), Virtual Private Networks (VPNs), and Network Address Translation (NAT).
Education: High School/GED Clearance: Active DoD Secret Clearance
Certifications:
- Active DoDD-8570 IA Technical (IAT) Level II - Security+ CE
- Plus one of the following active certifications: Microsoft 365 Certified Endpoint Administrator Associate (MDAA), Cisco Certified Network Associate Routing and Switching (CCNA Routing and Switching) Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA), Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS), Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) certification.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to walk to various locations as needed.
- Ability to bend and navigate to perform assigned duties.
- Ability to lift light to moderate equipment as needed for job.
