We are looking for an experienced Trust Administrator to join our growing team in the North and South Carolina markets. This is an exciting opportunity to grow a Trust department nearly from the ground up, working alongside other entrepreneurial retail and commercial bankers to invite new Trust customers to our bank. Our Trust professionals work closely with clients to advise on various trust, estate and investment solutions. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervisory Responsibilities: Interview and select candidates for openings, set goals for associates, assign tasks/duties, conduct on-the-job training, develop associates' skills and encourage growth, prepare disciplinary write-ups as appropriate, prepare and conduct performance reviews and make recommendations for salary adjustments, approve timecards for FTEs and other duties associated with managing a staff
  • Administer assigned trust accounts including personal trusts, estates, custodial and managing agency accounts, escrow accounts, IRA's, custodial depositories, retirement plans, etc.
  • Develop new business opportunities and provide customer service in the areas of trusts, agencies, IRAs, and estates
  • Collect and analyze customer information to determine proper financial products and advises on advantages and disadvantages of different financial products
  • Communicate with customers to respond to trust and banking issues
  • Ensure compliance with IRS Code, Ohio Trust Code, and audit requirements
  • Research and resolve complex trust issues as needed
  • Coordinate and organize workflow, establish project schedules, review client accounts, and determine timeline of special projects
  • Support new business goals for trust
  • Assist in internal education programs regarding trust product and services
  • Responsible for cross selling other bank services
  • Maintain awareness of and adherence to Bank's compliance requirements and risk management concepts, expectations, policies and procedures and apply them to daily tasks
  • Deliver a consistent, high level of service within our Serving More standards
  • Other duties as assigned

SCHEDULE

Typical office hours are Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm. This position is exempt and full-time. A minimum 40 hours is required per week. Saturdays as needed for special projects or events.

A flexible work arrangement is available for this position. The position will require some scheduled onsite hours. Please speak to the hiring manager for more information.

EDUCATION - CERTIFICATIONS - WORK EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree required

4-6 years related work experience
