Minimum of 25 weeks of military technical training school, along with an additional 6 years of related experience is required. OR,

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:

Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire. Candidates must be able to obtain a Secret clearance within a reasonable amount of time from date of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities for this Position

General Dynamics Mission Systems has an immideate opening for a Field Service Representative (FSR) to support the United States Coast Guard (USCG) in Sector Guam. Primary Area Of Responsibility (AOR) includes sites wihtin Sector Guam (Island of Guam and Commonwealth or Northern Mariana Islands - CNMI). Candidate would cover a minimum of six (6) Rescue 21 Sites: one (1) Coast Guard Sector Command Center (SCC), one (1) Coast Guard Station (STA) and four (4) Remote Fixed Facilities (RFFs).

As a Senior Advanced Field Support Representative, you'll install and repair equipment; instruct customers in equipment operation; provide technical assistance; and check equipment for malfunctions. You'll essentially conduct site and equipment inspections in order to perform preventative and corrective maintenance as well as conduct technical seminars and training for customer or company personnel, informal on-the-job training for other field service staff members and customers, and over-the-shoulder/refresher training to users in the field as required. We'll rely on you to diagnose and repair mechanical, hardware, software and systems failures using established procedures. You'll be expected to interface with customers, military personnel, government dignitaries, external consultants/experts, all levels of employees across the company, including executive management.

• Ability to travel more than 50% of the time. May deploy and operate with US Forces to CONUS or OCONUS field locations, including combat operations
• Advanced knowledge of Cisco commands

Target salary range: USD $45.08/Hr. - USD $48.35/Hr. This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled.
