Job Description

JOB OVERVIEW:

This position is responsible to cultivates and nurtures the Medical Group revenues, reputation and image by selling, servicing, and maintaining targeted large strategic accounts. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to: management of TSMs, engaging with key customer's executive management to understand needs enabling our support of sound business recommendations which will result in service solutions and establish contractual agreements. The Manager, Strategic Accounts assists in training the ZGM's, RSM's, FSC's with negotiating and developing distribution contracts in targeted MSOs (Management Services Organizations), IDNs (Integrated Delivery Networks), CHCs (Community Health Centers), IPAs (Independent Practice Association), RPCs (Regional Purchasing Coalitions) ASC (Ambulatory Surgery Centers) large medical group practices. The Manager, Strategic Accounts generates and maintains customer relationships, advises with specific key customers, works with sales and marketing to communicate key initiatives and reports market trends and needs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Management of other HCS TSMs including overseeing staffing, training and performance evaluations.
* Develops and implements methods and procedures for monitoring work activities.
* Submits reports of sales activity and maintains records.
* Evaluates performance in all areas of the HCS business, and drives performance improvements initiatives.
* Responsible for the implementation of distribution contracts with customers and strategic accounts.
* Develops and executes the "Implementation Plan", linkage of contracts and commitment form processing; pricing review and approval from Healthcare Services Operations and Sales & Marketing management.
* Oversees the management of day to day customer service, finance, technical support and Healthcare Services support initiatives.
* Complete management for existing customers and new corporate accounts generated by healthcare services sales team by monitoring sales, gross profit and works with the customer to market, ensure compliance, financial commitments and profitability.
* Develops and conducts customer business reviews to ensure customer commitment.
* Collaborates with marketing to create up market sales and marketing programs.
* Accountable for staying current and be responsive to competitive threats or service needs in the marketplace
* Interprets and communicates strategic information to sales consultants and sales management to ensure competitive strategies are understood and executed by Sales, Marketing and Global Services Teams.
* Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE:

Typically 10 or more years of increasing responsibility and complexity in terms of any applicable professional experience; 1 or more years of management experience.
