* Assesses patient/family needs and provides education.\u00A0 15%
* Promotes wellness and recommends community resources to meet patient and family needs.\u00A0 5%
* Promotes/provides staff education.\u00A0 3%
* May supervise the activities of clinical nursing and support staff and mentor new Advanced Practitioners.\u00A0 4%
* Knowledgeable of reimbursement procedures and documentation requirements.\u00A0 4%

* Provides case management for oncology clients and their families.\u00A0 2%
* Serves as a resource person for the nursing staff by providing information being studied in clinical trials.\u00A0 2%
Master's Degree-\u00A0Nursing; Nurse Practitioner Degree Emphasis or Program Certificate equivalent

South Carolina Official Recognition Nurse Practitioner
Prescriptive Authority South Carolina Nursing License
South Carolina Controlled Substance license; Federal DEA license
Oncology nursing experience - Preferred
Experience and knowledge in the management of the physiologic and psychological effects of cancer diagnosis and subsequent treatment - Preferred
