Lighthouse Behavioral Health Hospital is seeking a talented and dynamic Licensed Social Worker to join our team of resolute healthcare professionals.

ABOUT FACILITY- Lighthouse Behavioral Health Hospital (LBHH) is a 105-bed acute care and residential facility. For more than 30 years LBHH has been guided by its mission of helping those who need the full continuum of behavioral health services. Our facility offers behavioral and psychological treatment for adults, adolescents, and a 28-day inpatient Recovery Rehabilitation Program, as well as Intensive Outpatient Programs for Adults with Substance Use Disorders. LBHH is located twelve miles from beautiful Myrtle Beach which is part of the Grand Strand's 60 miles of continuous Ocean Beaches.

Position Summary:

The right candidates should possess the following and be comfortable and capable of all duties listed.

The Masters-prepared License Clinician delivers direct clinical care to clients in the form of individual and/or group therapy, coordinates services for clients, and may provide other authorized therapeutic modalities as well as participating in interdisciplinary treatment planning; and ensuring that any treatments delivered are within the scope of his or her training, experience, and general level of competence.

Key Accountabilities/Duties:

  • Assesses clients or family's needs, and eligibility for services.
  • Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient, including pediatric, adolescent, geriatric, and the adult populations.
  • Participates in planning treatment programs, dispositional and discharge plans.
  • Maintains family, and all collateral contact, as relevant.
  • Participates in interdisciplinary treatment planning.
  • Develops and maintains client case records including assessments, notes, plans, and reports.
  • Coordinates, arranges, and monitors continuity of care.
  • Accepts supervision, and attends regularly scheduled team, or supervision meetings.
  • Actively participates in treatment planning, works collaboratively as a member of the interdisciplinary treatment team.
  • Completes collateral, psychosocial evaluations, master treatment plans, and group notes on assigned patients within mandatory regulatory timelines in a clinical manner as part of the patient medical record. Displays excellent interviewing, diagnostic and report writing skills.
  • Treats patients and their families with respect and dignity; provides emotional support while maintaining healthy therapeutic boundaries.
  • Is an integral part of crisis response team and leads debriefing of patients after any type of adverse event.
  • Possesses excellent theoretical knowledge of psychopathology and treatment techniques as it relates to each type of therapeutic modality.
  • Keeps current with advances in the clinical field through continuing education, seminars/conferences, professional organizations, journals, etc.
  • Completes other duties as necessary and assigned by the Program Director.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in social work, Psychology or related program from an accredited College or University.
  • Current CPR certification (BLS) a plus
  • License eligible as a LCSW, LISW
  • Three (3) years' experience in a supervised clinical behavioral health care experienced preferred.
