The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the Company's corporate policy and compliance programs and underlying processes and report to the VP of Compliance, Risk and Audit.

What you'll be doing:

Policy:

  • Contribute to the design, implementation, and maintenance of the Company's governing framework for policy and procedures management
  • Ensure policies and procedures are aligned with the Company's ethical values, goals, and objectives
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure policies and procedures are relevant and effective
  • Stay up to date with regulatory and legislative changes that may impact policies and procedures
  • Facilitate meetings of the Company's policy oversight committee
  • Leverage the supporting technology for policy administration for analysis of policy effectiveness
  • Establish and maintain effective communication channels to ensure policies and procedures are accessible throughout the organization, including development of appropriate training and awareness campaigns

Compliance:

  • Leverage strong project management and organizational skills to design, implement and manage the Company's corporate compliance monitoring program to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and develop risk management strategies to mitigate identified risks
  • Design and implement a continuous monitoring program through use of data analytics
  • Discuss periodic business monitoring activities with business unit and corporate leadership
  • Drive continued process improvement to ensure the compliance program is appropriately focused and aligned to best practices
  • Stay up to date with regulatory and legislative changes that may impact the company's compliance program
  • Develop and maintain an effective communication strategy to ensure compliance policies and procedures are understood and followed by all employees, including providing training programs for employees on compliance matters

This position is located at our Corporate Headquarters in beautiful Hartsville, SC and close to exciting destinations (Myrtle Beach, SC Charleston, SC, Columbia, SC and Charlotte, NC) or has the possibility of being Hybrid.

We'd love to hear from you if:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, Accounting, or a related field (graduate degree preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience in corporate compliance or a related field
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance best practices
  • Familiarity with compliance software and other related tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to collaborate with other departments and senior leadership
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Certification in compliance or related field is a plus

Compensation:

The annual base salary range for this role is from $116,925.00 to $140,310.00
