Job Summary

The Executive Director, Total Rewards, will drive the development and administration of all compensation and employee benefits programs and lead the rewards and recognition programs to attract, retain and motivate a highly skilled, diverse workforce. Reporting directly to the Vice President, Total Rewards, and partnering with senior leaders and the Total Rewards team, the director will develop and administer the standard processes and procedures of the Compensation, Health & Welfare and retirement programs to support, reward, and recognize existing talent while enabling Prisma Health to continually attract top talent.

Accountabilities

  • Design, manage, and administer the compensation & employee benefits programs to ensure they are competitive, valued, equitable and aligned with overall business strategy and financial plans to enhance the motivation and productivity of employees and to meet recruitment, wellness, and retention goals. - 30%

  • Review program effectiveness and trends using rewards data from HRIS\u00A0 or other sources to develop and maintain market competitive reward packages. - 20%

  • Lead the annual benefits renewal and open enrollment cycle including market analysis, plan design, cost modeling, stakeholder management, and communication. - 10%

  • Drive the annual compensation planning activities to include merit increase, benchmarking, industry trends, best practices and pay equity analysis to create a competitive and equitable compensation program. - 10%

  • Ensure Prisma Health is in compliance with all total rewards laws and regulations such as Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA), Affordable Care Act (ACA), Internal Revenue Code, Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). Monitor legislative and business changes impacting total rewards. - 10%

  • Oversees the creation and updates of all Prisma Health policies and procedures related to Total Rewards. - 10%

  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners and system leaders to understand their issues related to Total Rewards and provide education and counsel. Provide support to Talent Acquisition to align pay competitive practices and philosophy. - 10%

Supervisory/Management Responsibilities

Job has direct and/or indirect supervision of team members that may include final budget authority, hire/termination authority, performance appraisal responsibility and disciplinary authority. Job will be considered a member of management staff at Prisma Health or affiliate and will have direct reports.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree - Human Resource Management, Business or related field; Master's Degree Preferred

  • 7 years - Administering compensation and employee benefits programs preferably in large healthcare organization

Required Certifications, Registrations, Licenses

  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or Certified Executive Compensation Professional (CECP) preferred.

  • Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) preferred

Knowledge, Skills, or Abilities

  • Knowledge of total rewards best practices and solutions. Solid process mapping and documentation skills.

  • Proficient interpersonal, communication and leadership skills. Ability to effectively translate complex information into clear and effective messages.

  • Strong financial acumen and analytical ability.

  • Proficient computer skills in word processing, spreadsheets, and databases
