*POSITION WITHOUT BE A 3 MONTH CONTRACT TILL END OF SEPTEMBER*

Primary Function: The CDL Driver will be responsible for driving needed vehicles and equipment to and from project sites,

*A Class A or B CDL license is required. This position requires extensive travel and you may be away from home for an extended period of time*

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Driving a snooper truck to faculty inspections and sealing work on various bridge projects in the area.
• Follow all traffic and safety regulations while working in actively managed lane closures.
• Adhere to established work schedules and complete assigned tasks within given timeframes.
• Conduct routine maintenance checks on the snooper truck and report any issues or repairs required.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to ensure smooth operations and project completion.
  

Requirements:

• Valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License) with appropriate endorsements.
• Proven experience operating a snooper truck or similar elevated work platform.
• Excellent driving skills and a clean driving record.
• Strong knowledge of traffic and safety regulations.
• Ability to work night-time shifts, Monday through Friday, averaging 8 hours per night.
• Physical fitness to perform tasks that may involve climbing and working at heights.
• Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Candidates who are bilingual in Spanish / English may be given preference.

Candidates who are union ironworkers/rodbusters with ability to work union or open-shop projects may be given preference.
