Job Summary:

Raw material, tooling, and general supplies procurement support for the manufacturing, engineering, and development operations of the Simpsonville plant.

 Job Description:

  • Planning for all GVR and GVT materials.
  • Coordinating with other locations for material transfers
  • Coordinating with suppliers as follows:
    • Quality Issues
    • Min/Max planning
    • Tooling Ordering
    • Inventory and non-inventory repair items
    • Blanket Order construction
  • Meticulous Recordkeeping
  • Interacting with Oracle
  • Proper handling of materials both hazardous and non-hazardous.

Job Qualifications:

  • AS Degree or equivalent
  • Forklift certification
  • Works with basic hand tools
  • Solid Communication, both verbal and written

Additional Information:

  • Computer skills and software
    • Basic Windows familiarity
    • Navigating through user friendly data entry screens
    • Sending and receiving emails
  • Reporting Structure
    • Department supervisor/manager
    • Interfaces with auditors and visitors
    • Procurement department representatives

Education and Experience:                

Associate Degree or equivalent experience/training. Fork Lift certification.
