Job Description

Reporting directly to the VP of Marketing and Supply Chain, the Executive Assistant will provide administrative support in an innovative, fast-paced, fun and collaborative environment. Benco is looking for someone with high-energy, knockout interpersonal skills and a can-do attitude who will take great pride in being an Executive Assistant and who will serve as an ambassador for the Marketing and Supply Chain department and who will stay several steps ahead and anticipate the needs of the executive.

This position is creative, works independently on projects, and will work under pressure at times to handle a wide variety of activities and confidential matters with discretion. This position must exercise good judgment in a variety of situations, with strong written and verbal communication, administrative and organizational skills, reporting/analytics and the ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Independently provide high quality support and anticipate the needs of the executive
  • Act as a liaison, problem-solver, facilitator, and first point of contact for the executive and others in the department
  • Manage the day-to-day work flow and maintain a work environment that enables the success of the executive
  • Provide extensive calendar management, anticipating needs and proactively and effectively managing time accordingly
  • Screen incoming calls and correspondence and respond independently where appropriate
  • Coordinate events, such as but not limited to: Quarterly Marketing and Supple Chain department meetings, philanthropy, team-building and off-sites
  • Assist the executive in the completion of high-level reports, documentation and presentations
  • Create and maintain various databases, reports, and records as well as produce, verify and analyze data
  • Independently run small projects and initiatives
  • Collaborate with other senior leader's executive assistants to enable a culture of success

Experience and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or technology; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Excellent organization skills with attention to detail and interpersonal skills with the right balance of friendliness and firmness
  • Excellent communication skills with strong written and verbal expertise
  • Exceptional phone etiquette and strong time-management skills with demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and tasks
  • Strong analytical and math skills, and problem solving skills
  • Can-do attitude with a willingness to "pitch in"
  • Computer Savvy with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word and OneNote)
  • At times, flexibility is needed when the executive travels in different time zones
  • Ability to travel 5% of work time
  • Knowledge of software project management a plus
