We are currently recruiting for a motivated and passionate Supply Chain Intern who is looking for practical hands-on experience in a dynamic team setting. This position is for the Summer 2018 season.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Work with Logistics Manager supporting compliance for international shipments, troubleshooting day to day shipping issues with 3P and warehouses, investigating and submitting freight claims, and other logistics support activities as needed.
  2. Work within our Sourcing team and suppliers to update materials country of origin (COO) records, conflict materials and other important information.
  3. Work within our Sourcing team, Warranty and our suppliers to capture current warranty codes, update warranty codes by supplier and explode that data to part level.
  4. Other supply chain projects as needed with exposure to the supply base, forecasting, demand planning, and inventory management.

In this internship you will gain experience with:

  • Systems used in our supply chain
  • Understanding the connectivity of functions related to supply chain
  • Presenting your progress/findings
  • Learning more about opportunities within the supply chain field.

You will be exposed to: Several departments and people within the business that touch our supply chain, from our suppliers, engineers, and production departments to transportation and logistics team responsible for planning the inventory to support customer demand.

Job Requirements

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be enrolled as a student at an accredited university studying toward a degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business or something similar.
  • Must have completed the sophomore year (or equivalent for Associate program candidates) in the major program of study
  • Must have and maintain a minimum G.P.A. of 3.0/4.0
