Summary
Provide oversight and enable program participants to learn duties, functions and appropriate behaviors needed to maintain employment either in a sheltered work environment or at various site locations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Oversees, motivates, manages, guides, and directs worksite program participants with significant disabilities.
Allocate work tasks and assignments to program participants while effectively managing their time.
Assessing and monitoring quality outcomes of program participants.
Manage conflict and/or changes in the program participant’s work setting.
Train participants according to the service plan, goals and objectives.
Maintain case notes and evaluations of participant's progress.
Turn in required paperwork (weekly, monthly, and quarterly) on time and accurate.
Report to case manager and program manager any changes, incidents or problems in a timely manner, using the most viable option (phone, beeper, incident report).
Administer customer satisfaction survey to ensure participant inputting service delivery.
Advocate for participant at all times.
Attend all required staff meetings for participant and participate when required.
Comply with all Agency policies, procedures and safety standards throughout work areas.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Ability to use an effective communication model to provide positive feedback, praise, encouragement, rewards, etc. Must exhibit an understanding of the culture present in the program participant’s work setting. Must maintain CPR/First Aide certification. Must have reliable transportation. Must have and maintain an operating home telephone. Must maintain the ability to pass a criminal background check. Must have a valid driver's license and automobile insurance acceptable to Goodwill's liability Insurance carrier.

Education and Experience

Minimum of a high school diploma or its equivalent. An awareness of and experience in training disabled individuals. Knowledge of competitive employment work environments, policies and procedures.

Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently works near moving mechanical parts and is frequently exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals, risk of electric shock, and vibration. The employment is occasionally exposed to wet and/humid condition, extreme cold, and extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
