Job Summary
Assists pharmacists in performing a variety of duties related to the provision of pharmaceutical care to patients. These duties require knowledge of and skills in the preparation and distribution of drugs in various dosage forms. Responsible for unique tasks consistent with intern certification status requirement, and also performs specialized tasks not performed by other technicians. Supports pharmaceutical care for patients and complies with laws & regulations of appropriate state and federal agencies and guidelines of JCAHO.Accountabilities

Required Licensure
Current registration with SC Board of Pharmacy as a\u00A0 pharmacy intern
Other Required Skills/Experience
Must have thorough knowledge of medical and pharmacy terminology; possess good mathematical skills; possess problem-solving abilities; able to work in team situations; able to handle urgent, stressful situations; Corporate and departmental mandatory training required annually; must have thorough knowledge of National, State, and Corporate regulations and standards.
