Founded in 1969, the National Council for Mental Wellbeing (National Council) is a membership organization that drives policy and social change on behalf of nearly 3,200 mental health and substance use treatment organizations and the more than 10 million children, adults, and families they serve. Position Summary
The National Council is seeking an intern who will support internal customers by providing resolutions to technical issues and inquiries by answering and responding to Help Desk calls and e-mails, escalating requests, monitoring resolutions, and providing first and second-level computer hardware, software, and telecommunications support to users. The intern reports directly to Information Systems Director and provides strong customer service and maintains the standards set forth by the organization while ensuring that all hardware and software-related tasks are performed using industry-standard methods. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience providing IT support for a 185-220-person organization in a highly mobile, primarily Windows-based, Office 365 environment.
This is an hourly paid, remote, full-time summer internship with a projected start date of Monday, May 23, 2022. Interns are provided with laptops for the duration of the internship if needed. We welcome applicants from all US time zones, knowing that some virtual required meetings and trainings may occur in the US Eastern Time.
