SSS is currently seeking a SAS Programmer for Public Health Research to serve on a multi-disciplinary team that conducts analyses and reports on findings from clinical- and population-based epidemiological studies on behalf of the federal government. The studies we conduct focus on the impact of the physical and social environment on human health and well-being, as well as genetic, occupational, and lifestyle risk factors. You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team that includes data managers, analysts, and operations staff. You will provide data management support for these studies by developing programs to build study datasets, as well as to generate reports to inform the progress of the studies and to summarize the study data from a scientific and operational perspective. Our ideal candidate for this position would have prior experience conducting public health research, excellent communication skills, and exceptional attention to detail.
