Job Description
Description

  • Meet with applicants to interview, review and evaluate loan requests, including loan alternatives, credit criteria, interest rates, and necessary loan documentation
  • Analyze and evaluate loan requests and assist credit analyst with preparing written submission for consideration by the appropriate loan approval authority
  • Process preliminary documentation on commercial loan requests
  • Monitor and review construction and development loans
  • Identify business leads and prospects for future opportunities, including providing general Bank information and cross selling services
  • Assist commercial lending personnel as needed
  • Identify problems or potential problems with credit information and coordinate with the necessary party to resolve the problems
  • Assist in review of construction loan advances on commercial properties and conducts property inspections as assigned
  • Follow up on all mature loans
  • Assist in the collection of delinquent accounts, charged off loans, and loan workouts
  • Individually and if applicable, as a manager, participate in identifying, measuring, monitoring, controlling and mitigating departmental and enterprise-wide risks
  • Maintain awareness of and adhere to Bank's compliance requirements and risk management concepts, expectations, policies and procedures and apply them to daily tasks
  • Deliver a consistent, high level of service within our Service Excellence standards
  • Other duties as assigned

DESIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Minimum of 5 years commercial lending experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Solid interviewing skills
  • Organized and able to multi-task with attention to detail
  • Able to meets deadlines on a consistent basis
  • Can adapt quickly and professionally to changing priorities
  • Demonstrated analytical and decision-making skills
  • Capacity to work independently, be self-motivated and adapt well to change
  • Deliver consistent, high level of service within our Service Excellence guidelines

SCHEDULE

The expected hours for full-time salary exempt position is 44-48 per week. A minimum 40 hours is required and the average number of Saturdays worked per month ranges from 1 to 2. Early morning, evening, and weekend hours may be required.

Education

Required

Bachelors or better in Business Administration or related field.

High School or better.
