Summary & Qualifications:

Performs routine maintenance actions including troubleshooting for C-17 flight and maintenance simulators
Applies basic knowledge and experience to solve routine technical tasks or system problems; those that typically may be performed solely by reference to maintenance manuals or similar documents. Receives training in device system and subsystems.
Assists in Diagnosing and correcting problems on simulators
Learn and performs preventive maintenance (PM) tasks on simulators and associated training and support systems.
Work will be reviewed by higher level Technicians II or III to ensure compliance with accepted practices and/or standard operating procedure
Utilizes a maintenance management system to record and track all maintenance activities
Perform pre and post flight activities on all simulators
May perform visual alignments, simulator testing and evaluation of results. May assist during simulator modifications and enhancements; perform administrative tasks and housekeeping functions as required.
2-year technical degree or equivalent related training
Must have current SECRET level security clearance, or ability to obtain an interim SECRET clearance.
