    Material Flow Intern
    Overview

    Generac Mobile Products - Join the leader in the power industry! Our Berlin, WI is seeking a Material flow Intern for our Operations Division.

    The Material flow Intern will support the Material flow Coordinator by collecting data, make PFEP recommendations, evaluate part presentation to the line. Audit current PFEP and replenishment system

    You will be writing procedures, organizing standard documents, preparing charts and reports and developing our document control structure. Good communication skills with all levels of the organization are required.

    Responsibilities

    Audit current replenishment system and PFEP plan. Make recommendations and evaluation of the current and future state for material presentation to the line.


    Upload and organize documents on our intranet for the entire organization to access.
    Prepares charts and reports in support of the operations team.


    Helps with training needs in support of new procedures and standards.


    Prepares presentations in support of the deployment of standard Generac tools, methodologies, standards, practices and processes.

    Qualifications

    Basic Qualifications:

    Enrolled in an Associates Degree or Bachelors Degree program (Bachelors Degree preferred)


    Working towards a degree in Technical Writing, Business or Operations preferred
    Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; Database skills are a plus

    Must be detail oriented with an attention to eliminating variation or inconsistencies in documents and systems.

    Strong organization and time management skills.


    Solid quantitative skill set and the ability to analyze, think and communicate with well-supported data.


    The ability to work a minimum of 15 hours during the school year is preferred.
