Job Description

Benco Dental, the largest privately owned, full-service dental distributor in the United States, is seeking a OneVisit Clinical Support and Training Specialist to join its growing merchandise marketing team. The OneVisit Clinical Support and Training Specialist is responsible for clinical in-office, remote, and on-site training of CAD/CAM scanning, design and milling solutions, remote dental technology support and imaging software and curriculum development and delivery for Benco Dental's clinical CAD/CAM training program. This specialist can be located anywhere in the United States.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Customer Training and Support (60%)
    • Provide orientation and training of all procedures related to digital CAD/CAM imaging
    • Train staff on the image enhancement tools within digital x-ray imaging software, digital workflow of the CAD/CAM process and integration into the dental Office
    • Provide CAD/CAM Technology training to dental staff on CAD/CAM scanners, design software, dental mill equipment, x-ray sensors and 3D printing
    • CAM/CAM responsibilities include training dental office clinical teams on preparation of restorative site, scanning site, software fabrication of restorations, milling of restoration, placement of restoration, and final adjustment of restoration
    • Work closely with dental offices through the design of cases in order to support clinical issues during the process
  • Training Coordination and Curriculum (40%)
    • Coordinate training activities for CAD/CAM train the trainer program
    • Train new CAD/CAM field trainers and identify external development opportunities
    • Lead new hire certification and annual re-certification process for technology trainers on clinical CAD/CAM products with certification requirements
    • Partner with vendors to develop and maintain digital dental workflow curriculum and playbooks for product training on clinical CAD/CAM solution
    • Partner with the OneVisit Experience Management team to assess and maintain proper training standards
    • Provide input on development of customer facing materials related to the clinical CAD/CAM solution
    • Assess clinical training trends and needs quarterly to identify continuous improvement opportunities
    • Stay current on clinical CAD/CAM technology Benco is offering and identify potential offerings through research and attending vendor training classes

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of Clinical Dental experience
  • Minimum of 2 years CAD/CAM Training
  • Subject matter expert of Dental CAD/CAM Technology
  • Dental implant and digital imaging equipment knowledge including full dental CAD/CAM workflow and x-ray equipment and enhancement
  • Understanding of tooth preparation for impression taking and dental anatomy and procedures
  • Extensive knowledge of clinical chair-side CAD/CAM equipment, materials used for placement of restorations and imaging software
  • Experience with curriculum development and training program coordination, planning and delivery
  • CAD/CAM certifications a plus
  • 90% travel associated with technology training
  • Flexibility is required to accommodate Customers' schedules
  • Ability to strictly follow training protocol
