Department Overview

Home Team Sports, a division of Fox Sports Media Group is seeking a student majoring in graphic design with experience in advertising or marketing for the 2017 Summer Internship program. The intern will be working within the Creative Partnerships team.

If you're asking yourself, what does a Creative Partnerships team do? Here's the answer:

We create 360 marketing campaign solutions for brands who want to reach home team fans across the MLB, NBA, NHL, and NCAA through on-air, in-store, in-stadium, and digital integrations to name a few.

Key Responsibilities

The candidate will have the opportunity to:

  • Assist with both general office tasks and aid in design production work (sourcing imagery, clipping out backgrounds, etc.)
  • Be involved in brainstorming sessions and other creative meetings
  • Have the opportunity to create original campaign concepts and designs for marketing pitches with the ability to do everything from brainstorming, to researching, to writing, to storyboarding and designing
  • Design smaller B2B projects such as evites, event materials and full page print ads


Qualifications

Design portfolio that demonstrates your conceptual skills and design style as well as a firm understanding of type and design principles

  • Storyteller who has excellent written and verbal skills
  • Detail oriented and organized
  • Demonstrates a high level of commitment and flexibility throughout the entire internship experience
  • PowerPoint master who is not only willing to work in PowerPoint but to DESIGN in PowerPoint
  • Love of sports, pop culture and all things entertainment
  • General office experience
Technical Requirements:

Mastery of: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat Pro, PowerPoint, and Word

Nice to have: After Effects


To participate in Fox's Internship program you must meet the following criteria:

  • Applicants must be enrolled full-time in an undergraduate or graduate degree program at an accredited university and be sophomore status or above.
  • Be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship by the Company.
  • Housing is not provided, so please have a housing option guaranteed before applying.
