Description
Tucson Electric Power, one of Arizona's leading utility companies, seeks an individual for the position of Student Intern in the Demand Side Resources Department. This position will consist of helping the department make an appearance at a variety of events throughout the year. This position will offer students experience in department programs as well as public speaking.
Position-Related Responsibilities:
  • Attend weekday and weekend events as they become available and as school schedule permits.
  • Assist in answering questions regarding Demand Side Resource programs.
  • Set up and break down events
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Excellent communication, written and verbal skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office software
  • Comfortable using the Internet
  • Must have high level of interpersonal skills and the ability to protect highly sensitive and confidential information
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Must possess functional knowledge of Microsoft Office products

Requirments:
  • Must be a full-time college student, at least 12 credit hours, in an accredited University or community college and maintain a good academic standing
  • Student must be pursuing a degree in Business, Communications, Marketing or a related field with a graduation date no earlier than May 2019
  • Must be able to work a minimum of 20 hours per week during regular business hours; Up to 40 hours may be available during the summer and school breaks
  • Must have a high level of interpersonal skills and the ability to protect highly sensitive and confidential information
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Must possess functional knowledge of Microsoft Office products
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
